Description
Butterfly-shaped brooch made out of bronze and brass wire. Wingspan and body length both approximately 5,5 cm. As alloys of copper, brass and bronze have antimicrobial properties, and they will develop beautiful patina over time. The brooch is unique; even if I make others with a similar concept, the end result will differ from this one.
In many cultures around the world and throughout the ages, including ancient Greek, Roman and Japanese, butterflies are associated with human souls. Butterflies’ four-stage life cycle is also often thought of as a symbol of transformation and growth.
